Why does my Google Wifi network have an additional network that ends in _F8?

I have been using Google wifi at home for a while now, and I have 4 AP's in my network (Model AC-1304).  I notice recently that in addition to the wifi network I set up, there is an additional wifi network that ends in _F8.  My network name is, "Bishtopia," and there is an extra network, that I did not set up, called, "Bishtopia_F8."  Why do I have this extra network, and how can I get rid of it?  It does not show up in my Google Home app, but it does disappear for a while if I reset my network.  Obviously, resetting my network a lot is not an optimal solution.  Why does this additional network pop up, and how can I get rid of it?

It is your neighbor is the one that named his wifi the same as yours to get on your nerves. Not your Nest.

Is that your final answer? 😀

If it were my neighbor's network, why would it disappear when I restart my network?

It is not Nest.  It is Google Wifi.  No Nest branding anywhere.  AP model AC-1304, as stated above.

If that is the case I think one of your WiFi points is not connected to the network correctly or is malfunctioning.  Probably not connected most likely. It is common for Google devices to create a network when they fail to connect. Sorry about my first reply I was in a hurry.

Thanks for the updated answer.  This seems to make a little more sense.  All of my AP's show as being connected, in the Google Home app, so I guess it's a matter of removing and re-adding them, just to be sure.  Thanks for the tip.

One thing I am unsure if Google supports only 3 points on the network.  It might be a limitation.

Hey folks,

Thanks for lending a hand, @Richard378.
@blue280z, our apologies for the late reply. To clarify, which devices see this network that ends in 'F8'? Do all devices see it or just a specific one? I'll wait for your update.

Thanks,
Abi

Hello blue280z,

Thanks for the update. We'll keep this thread open for a few days to give you time to do the steps. Let us know if you have any other questions or clarifications for now.

Regards,
Abi

Multiple devices see this "F8" network.  I believe I have isolated it to one specific AP, so I should be able to do a factory reset and then rejoin it to my network.  I hope that resolves the issue.

Thanks to all who replied!
