Wi-Fi channels

I recently got a Nakamichi 7.1 Pro surround sound system to put in my living room. I hooked it up as per the instructions and have been having connectivity issues with wireless sub. The two rear speakers connect to the subwoofer, so I can’t hear them either. I have tried all but one of the troubleshooting tips that Nakamichi has posted to try and alleviate the connectivity issues, but to no avail.  The one thing I haven’t been able to try is changing the channels on my Wi-Fi network because, well you can’t!  All the routers I’ve ever had before this one have been able to change the Wi-Fi channels on 2.4 GHz and on 5 GHz.  Why is this not a feature Google?  When this router becomes obsolete, I’m going to seriously consider buying a different brand.  Any any chance this feature will come to the Google routers anytime soon it would be really nice and fix a lot of peoples problems.

That's just how it is and how it's always been with Nest Wifi. For 2.4ghz, Nest Wifi automatically chooses channels based on some built in logic, while for 5ghz it uses static channel selection which varies per region. More info from earlier threads:
