Wi-Fi no internet

My wifi network isn’t connecting to the internet. My guest network is working fine but my primary network isn’t connecting to the internet. I restarting my network and a factory reset. It will work for a day or two then the connection will fail. I only have a computer and a gaming laptop on the network.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Google Wifi. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

 

  • What's the light status of your Google Wifi?
  • Are all devices connected having issues accessing the internet?

Also, to isolate the issue, could you try connecting a device with an ethernet cable to the parent point and check if you could access the internet?

I have same issue. Main network connects fine but has no internet. Guest network connects and has internet. The Google wifi light is a solid light blue color.

And yes, I can connect devices with ethernet plugged into the parent port.

Do you have a second router plugged into the nest router?

@pwsteen, I'm sorry to hear that you're also having this issue. I'd love to know more about this. Are you using a modem or a modem router combo? If it's a modem router combo, is it on bridge mode?
