Wi-Fi not working

Anonymous
Not applicable

My google Wi-Fi has been going out every so often. It goes offline when I do a restart it just comes back up a slow yellow light blinks. The last time this happened I was on the phone with a rep for like 4 hours. Finally it came back up, 2 weeks ago it went out again and was trying to figure it out for hours and came back on the next day. It just happened again a few minutes ago. Our tv is connected via Ethernet to the modem and is working fine. I just have no Wi-Fi and it just has a slow blinking yellow light. Any ideas how to fix this??

The blinking yellow light means there's a network issue.

"Our tv is connected via Ethernet to the modem and is working fine."

This indicates that you've set Nest Wifi up without first bridging your ISP equipment, which means you're running double NAT. Which is not ideal, and clould be the cause of why you are experiencing random network issues.

See following guides on double NAT and bridging:

Wired devices should then be connected to the master/ primary Nest Wifi. Use a cheap unmanaged switch to get more ethernet ports:

I don't work for Google.

Hey, everyone.
It looks like we've slowed down here. We'll be closing up the thread unless anyone else has any input or needs anything else. If so, just let me know and we can keep this open a bit longer.
Thanks,
