WiFi modem flashing red unable to connect to router.

I noticed the router flashing red/orange.  I disconnected the modem and router.

I plugged in modem and it is now flashing red/orange too.  I haven’t plugged in router yet.

30 minutes, light on router still flashing.

Hey, Marine220.

Sorry for the issues you're having with your router. That sounds like a frustrating thing to be dealing with, but we can definitely sort this out and get you working 100% again.

This article here shows what the status lights mean: https://bit.ly/2Z0wQcl.

If you are using the Google WiFi, red is an indication that there's a problem with the point itself, while orange indicates that there's a problem with your Internet connection coming into the router or point. Can you let me know if we're dealing with the Google WiFi or the Nest WiFi router and points?

I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

I'm sorry I didn't see your response.  It seems it was Google fiber that was out for a number of hours and went back on its own.  They actually sent me a notification and a $.95 credit (whoopee).

Thanks for your response and assistance.  I will use this site again if I have any future problems.

Sincerely
