I'm having an issue with coverage in my house for Wifi calling with my Samsung S20 FE. I have Spectrum internet. My phone is set to wifi calling. All wifi apps on my phone (internet, etc) work without any issue. If I stay within 8-10 feet of the router, my phone will make wifi calls without any issue. If I move further away, I loose the ability to make wifi calls. We have horrible cell coverage in our neighborhood and wifi calling is a must. We have only the router (no remote access points). Our house is 1800 +/- square feet and the router is centrally located. I feel pretty sure it's a Galaxy issue but I am getting no where with them. Any way the nest have have it's power turned up? Is anyone having this issue?

Hi Mhender239,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with the Wifi calling. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:
You could also try prioritizing a device. You can click on this link to learn more about this.
Thanks,
Edward

Thank you for your input.
I ran a device speed test and I can achieve 296 mbps on my phone. The network reports 430 mbps. There are no monitors or microwaves to interfere. I moved the point into my office and my work position is now within 6 feet of the point. I have prioritized my phone. My phone indicated wifi calling available for a few moments a little bit ago but the indication is gone again. I switched to airplane mode and then back out of airplane mode and the wifi calling indication is back. Any thoughts? Can the router and point's output power be increased? Do you know if a Samsung Galaxy S20 have their sensitivity increased? THe Nest is far better than the Nighthawk that I replaced but I still don't understand why I can't achieve full wifi calling in my 1700 square foot single level house.

Follow up question, can two devices be "prioritized"? Both my wife's and my phones? Looks like on one device can be prioritized.

Hi Mhender239,
Thanks for the response. We can only prioritize one device at a time. The prioritized device has a faster connection for better performance. When the set time has lapsed, their Wi-Fi network returns to its normal settings, and every device receives its fair share of bandwidth.
Another thing that we could try to isolate the issue is to prioritize an activity like video conferencing. You could click on this link to learn more about this.
Thanks,
Edward

Thank you for the info. I already have video conferencing selected and still having an issue. I also created another network called Phones I have our two phones connecting there while everything else is on the primary network. I still have my phone sitting maybe 4 feet away from the access point and calls re going over cell instead of wifi.
