After installation (or each subsequent restart of the point or network), the mesh connection shows as strong. Over time (every week or so), the connection strength goes from strong to weak. And even when weak, internet does not work through the point. I live in a fairly newly constructed two bedroom apartment with Xfinity gig speeds in Chicago. I've gotten the same experience when I use a point or a router puck in that room (connection starts off strong, then slowly degrades).
This is not what I expected from a mesh network at all. If they can't stay connected when down the hall from the the main router, then what good is it?
Router (living room - middle of apartment): H2D - v. 14150.882.9
Point 1 (in bedroom - front of apartment): H2E - v. 1.56.375543
Point 2 (kitchen - back of apartment): H2D - v. 14150.882.9

I forgot to mention, I have performed a factory reset on the all devices and have restarted the network SEVERAL times to no avail.

Hi sgoins78,
That certainly hasn't been easy for you. Let’s further look into it. A few questions: are you using a modem/router combo? What is the distance of your Google Nest Wifi points from the Google Nest Wifi router? Are there devices near any point that might cause interference, like a landline phone, baby monitor, microwave, or any device that broadcasts on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz? How big is your house in square meters (approximately)? Have you tried to move it to a different location and monitor its behavior?
I’ll look forward to your response.
Regards,
Alex
