To continue gathering more information, I'd like to ask the following:
- Do you use a modem and router combo?
- Do you have a new modem?
- Have there been any recent changes to your network or the Nest WiFi Pro? If so, did your device recently update?
- What color is the light on your Nest WiFi Pro? Does it continuously switch from orange to teal (or white)?
In the meantime, try the following steps:
- Check your modem's internet connection: Connect a computer or laptop directly to your modem and see if you can access the internet.
- Reboot your modem and WiFi device: If there's no internet connection, restart your modem and Nest WiFi Pro, then try a different Ethernet cable. You can find more details in this article: Restart Nest Wifi or Google Wifi devices.
- Remove the modem's backup battery: If your modem has a backup battery, remove it during the power cycle.
