My Wifi is inconsistent when I connect through the Google Nest. When connect directly to the modem or my main Google pod the speed and consistency is very good. Once I start using the nest, as I move around my home , the speed, strength and consistency deteriorate considerably. Any suggestions.

When you connect directly to the modem, is that through ethernet, or do you have another wireless network going?
When you run a mesh test in the Home app, what are the results for connection strength?
Do you see speed fluctuations when staying put, or mostly just when moving around?
How many points do you have on your network?
