Windows11 reports that the Brother mfc-j4420dw is offline but I can access it using its IP

As the title says the Windows11 reports that the Brother mfc-j4420dw is offline but I can access it using its IP address.
Will not print.
This is the second printer on this network with this behavior.
Both are 2.4 G
I replaced printer with new printer and it is behaving the same.
I can log into it using the IP via browser using the Admin account, etc,
Printer is wirelessly connected to a Google Home Router and that shows the printer as "idle".
Yet I can connect to it via the IP and interact with it.
This leads me to believe that the problem is the router and not the printer.
Client is about to purchase another WIFI system.

Hello Captain-Thermo,

Thanks for reaching out to our community.

I understand how frustrating it can be when your printers don't function optimally on Google Wi-Fi, even though you've confirmed they're reachable by IP address. Let's work together to troubleshoot the connection and get your printers back up and running.

First, please confirm that all of your devices are connected to the same network. Can you also provide information about your specific Wi-Fi router and access points, as well as the number of Wi-Fi networks you see when trying to connect to your Google router?

If other devices on your network are experiencing similar issues, ensure Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is enabled by following these steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Wi-Fi, then Settings.
  3. Scroll down and tap Advanced networking.
  4. Scroll down to UPnP and make sure it's on.

Please keep me posted.

Regards,
Angel.
