Worth upgrading to Nest WiFi Pro or TP-Link Deco AXE5400 (EX75 Pro) + TP-Link Deco X50-Outdoor

Planning on upgrading from a 2 router (standard) Nest WiFi setup.

Some details:

ISP - Xfinity/Comcast: 1.2 Gig Plan

Modem - Netgear CM1000v2

Home built in late 1920s

House is 2,100 sqft (2 floors + basement)

Property lot (total) is 3,750 sqft

We have a detached garage that I recently ran Ethernet to (about 40-60ft away from our house).

Current setup:

Modem -> (living room/front of house) main Nest WiFi router -> main Network Switch -> secondary Network Switch -> (Detached Garage) secondary Nest WiFi router

I was leaning towards the Nest WiFi Pro (2-pack) due to being familiar with Google's ecosystem, but was intrigued by TP-Link's offering (especially the outdoor rated deco unit + the 2.5Gigabit WAN port).

Our garage isn't well insulated, but I haven't had any issues with the Nest WiFi router being in the garage during freezing/hot temps. I think the only issue I came across a few times was it going offline, but that was when I was using a mesh/powerline connection instead of direct Ethernet. Since it's only been a couple of weeks since I ran the outdoor Ethernet cable, I can't comment on how it performs during cool/hot months. Weather hasn't been too bad and it has held up pretty well.

What would be the smart move here?

I ended up getting the TP-Link Deco XE75Pro and the TP-Link Deco X50-Outdoor.

While I prefer to stay with Google's offering (i.e., Nest WiFi Pro), TP-Link's equipment met my needs.

Having a dedicated outdoor unit has provided me with some peace of mind and performance/coverage has been great so far.

My Nest cameras (6 1st Gen Outdoor Cameras and 1 2nd Gen Indoor Camera) and my (2) Nest Hello's have performed better than I expected. They remain online (haven't had any of them randomly go offline - this might be due to improved coverage) and I can view/scroll through the video history with ease (with little to no hiccups).

I'd go with Ubiquiti if I could do it over.
