hi - would appreciate anyone's thoughts.  My new 2nd gen Nest mini is not able to connect to my apartment's wifi.  same exact wifi signal that my amazon echo was using for years.  i've tried many suggestions - switching to DHCP, static IP, android home app in airplane mode, factory reset, etc...  Each time I get the error "Wi-Fi network may require you to login.  This type of network is currently not supported".

At what point does the Home app fail during the setup of the Nest mini?

the Home app on my android phone connects fine to the Nest Mini. I get the Nest chime to confirm the connection.  It's when the Nest tries the Wifi login to my wifi network when I get the error.

Eric, is that a spoken error message on your Nest Mini?

no - it shows as a pop up from the Home App on my android phone when I'm trying to complete the Nest Mini initial setup.
