google home app stopped reporting wifi usage data

All usage data show zero usage, device usage and network usage data are flat, all connected devices show their connection as idle. Live data does not show any activity. All devices work fine, there are no actual connectivity issues, but I have no way to see how much data is used currently nor in the past. This started happening out of the blu a two months ago.  I can still test device connectivity and get accurate results but the usage graphs are always a flat line. I have nine pucks in my mesh network. The google home app on my android device has the same problem.

Hello Couzteau,

Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help.

Please ensure that your Google Home app is up-to-date. Power cycle your entire network and check if that resolves the issue. Here's how:

  1. Disconnect the power from the modem.
  2. Disconnect the Ethernet cable and power cord from the parent point.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the child points.
  4. Leave everything unplugged for 2 minutes.
  5. Connect the power cord to the modem, then to your router and points.

Keep me posted.

Best,
Lovely

Hi Couzteau,

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps that I suggested? Let me know if that did the trick or not, so we can try something else.

Cheers,
Lovely

Yes that worked. Thanks

Actually I didn't do most of the things suggested, I just chose the "restart entire network" from the Google Home app.
