have a working google home, google wifi on a mobile. this mobile no longer works, and want it working with a new mobile (galaxy s20). should I "move" the setup to the new mobile, or should I reconfigure anew, by resetting each google wifi point in the process. I have tried to look for help for this subject, but I have not found any obvious help, I can not be the first wanting to do this.

If you get a new phone and install and log into the Google Home app (and the Google Nest app, if you are using it) with the same Google Account you were previously using, you should have access to all of your Google Nest devices, just as before. And if you transfer your phone number over to your new phone with your cell phone carrier, you should not have any issues with two-factor authentication or similar issues. We've updated both of our phones over the years with no issues with our Google Nest devices.

you said "with the same Google Account you were previously using". I have two accounts and I was not using the relevant account. thanks (stupid me).
