how do I create a different SSID for 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks?

We have a brand new Brother color laser printer that is having intermittent connectivity issues over our Google mesh network. Brother recommends using different SSIDs for 2.4 and 5. That's ok with us, we use the Google mesh to give us great 5GHz coverage all over our house. How can I split into two SSIDs? Or, I'm also willing to disable 2.4GHz WiFi but I don't see how to do that either.

We don't use Google Nest Wi-Fi, but this Help topic says "Your Nest Wifi or Google Wifi network uses the same name for both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands." There does not seem to be an option for separate SSID's for different Wi-Fi bands.

We have the same SSID for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and avoid the problem with our HP laser printer by having it connected it via ethernet cable to our router.

Thanks. We could move the printer to a place with LAN cable access, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having WiFi coverage all over the house. Where we have the printer there is not a cable run.

Yes, it defeats the purpose of having Wi-Fi coverage, but just for the printer itself.  We can send print jobs to our printer from any mobile device anywhere in our house.
