Hi @mgdc02,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulties trying to set up your Nest WiFi point. Don't worry; let me help you with this.

It's likely that the password the app is requesting is the setup code located at the bottom of the device. You can try using that and see if it works. To start the resolution process, let's try the factory reset process again following these instructions:

  1. Press and hold the button on the bottom of the Nest WiFi point.
  2. The factory reset process starts about 5 seconds in. Hold the button for 10 more seconds until a sound confirms the reset of the device.
  3. After the device is reset, it may still appear in the Home app. To remove the device, perform an app factory reset.
  4. When the light on the device starts flashing white, go to your Google Home app and create a new home:
    • Open the Google Home app.
    • Tap Settings, then Add.
    • Select Home.
    • Follow the on-screen steps.

Once you have the new home created, let's try to set up the Nest WiFi point one more time. Here are the steps to set up a Nest WiFi point. Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Lusvin.
