wfi router work but not as a connecttion point ...

Hi,

My 3 google wifi points generally work upstairs connecting to the google wifi router which is connected to my comcast router in bridge mode downstairs.  So the mesh network appears to be working except downstairs directly via the google wifi router - I can see the network downstairs but can't connect to it at all.  Any ideas?

Hi, jarlath.

Sorry about the connection issues you're having. I imagine it's quite frustrating to have gaps in your mesh network. Let's take a look at things and work out a solution for this.

I do have a few questions and things you can check to help us sort out the problem.

  • When you run a mesh test, what are the results saying with the points that are not connecting?
  • Have you tried restarting the network to see how that affects things?
  • Was the networking working well previously and then stopped, or has it always had issues after setup?

If you can give me a few more details on this, we can jump in on finding a fix. I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks.
