wifi pro setup

Upon initial installation, Google Home app tells me my network is offline. I'm online with my OLD network & want to install the Google WIFI pro. I can't get past this point with setup.

substituted cables to fiber modem. Reset WIFI pro and AT& T modem. deinstalled and reinstalled IOS Google Home app. Nothing works.

Help!
