I am planning on wiring the Google wifi mesh to take advantage of faster back haul via ethernet cabling. I've attached a diagram of what I am going to do. Does anyone see any issues with this plan? Any feedback would be appreciated.

This topology looks good to me.

I am using essentially the same setup, with just two "points" (Gen 1). One is in a barn about 300 feet from the house using "burial grade" Cat 6. Wireless and IOT (lights, GDO, Mini) devices all work with no issues.

Hi, FrankPet.
It looks like you have yourself a good grasp on this here and the community verifies that. I just wanted to check in to see if you needed anything else or if we can go ahead and mark this one as resolved.
Thanks.

Jeff,
I consider the question answered and solved. However, I have to finish a couple of cat6 runs to complete the project. I am confident that it will work. I just wanted some feedback before I invested more time and effort and to ensure that the wiring scheme was solid. I'll report on the outcome in the coming days. It may prove useful to other community members.
Thanks, Jeff.

Hey, FrankPet.
No worries if you haven't had time to test things yet, but I wanted to check in to make sure we didn't miss anything in the event that you had. If so, let us know how things worked out for you.
Thanks.

Hey, everyone.
It looks like we've slowed down here again. We'll be closing up the thread unless anyone else has any input or needs anything else. If so, just let me know and we can keep this open a bit longer.
Thanks,
- Jeff
