A complicated addition of a third Nest X Yale door lock

We own a 2 story home we use as a short term rental. We currently have a Nest x Yale lock on the first floor main entrance and another one the lower floor entrance. We want to install a third Nest x Yale lock of the stairwell door so that we can offer for rent the lower floor and be able to slose off access to the first floor. How do I setup the three locks so I can assign guest codes separately?

Probably would have to setup a totally separate/different house in your app.

hi folks,

Thanks for chiming in, @bhw2249

@awatson6, thanks for posting. I recommend you setup all your Nest × Yale Lock in separate homes in the Nest app so you can assign guest codes separately. Follow this Nest × Yale Lock installation and setup guide for more.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Best,

Zoe
