Nest still auto-locking while I’m home

My Nest lock has worked fine for a few years- this morning it keeps auto-locking every ~5 minutes like I am away, even though my Nest app shows that I am here. When I try to lock/unlock from the app it shows an error that says “the app had trouble connecting to the Nest service. Try again”. I have removed batteries from the lock and unplugged the connect, tried again and no luck. Anything else I can try? TYIA

Hi there,

I can see how this could be frustrating to experience, and I would love to look into this further for you. If you haven't already, you can learn here how to factory reset your Yale lock, which may help to reset issues it may be having. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best regards,

Brad

Hey Dejongdylan,

Checking in — did you get a chance to reset your lock to its default settings as suggested by Brad? If so, how did it go? Let us know if you need anything else.

I appreciate the help here, Brad.

Thanks,

JT

Hi JT- thanks for your reply! It turned out to be an issue with the 2.4Ghz band on our router. Once we got the router replaced I did have to reset the lock a few times but it has worked since. Thank you, again!
