Yale Lock not assigning

I'm trying to assign my yale nest lock to my new account and when it asks me to press the button on the back to set it up, the button will not light up.

I’m sorry for the trouble here. Let’s check — a few questions: are the batteries of your lock fresh and standard AA alkaline batteries? Are you trying to reset your lock to its default settings? Also, is your lock’s privacy mode on?
