Google/Nest Google Assistant Ever going to be fixed?

Is Google/Nest ever going to actually fix the Google Assistant on Google/Nest devices?

The devices have only gotten worse over the years and recently when they removed a bunch more functionality they obviously messed up a bunch of other code in Google Assistant because now the assistant doesn’t work correctly for anything anymore.

Can’t even rely on it for a simple turn device on or off command, everything replies with "Sorry something went wrong".

Mods don’t waste your time telling me to send feedback because obviously iv been doing that for years and nothing I have sent feedback on has improved at all, also don’t tell me to factory reset or try different networks, I have done all that and tested in so many scenarios over the years.
Its very obvious its just the way Google Assistant is coded, its not an issue on my end it’s obviously present everywhere as it appears every Google/nest device owner says the same thing about it.

Either fix the Google Assistant, or integrate Gemini into it or something maybe that will fix many of the issues then it will have some actual AI to it.

Support team has been garbage, been trying to help them get the information escalated to the developers and such but it’s the support team that causes nothing to get through to the developer team.

Google really needs to terminate the entire team and rehire and train better!

Hello @Bricemb96 ,

Thanks for reaching out to us with your issue. We sincerely apologize for the issues you are facing with Google Assistant on Google/Nest Devices.  We, the engineers at Google are constantly working to make the experience with Google Smart Home Ecosystem smooth and easy. We really appreciate your valuable feedback as it helps us in getting valuable insights as to how we can improve our ecosystem further.

We will be forwarding your concern to the internal teams and keep you posted about any developments in this regard through our public documentation.

Also, the error message "Sorry, something went wrong." might also indicate that something might be wrong on the integration between the manufacturer and Google. If the issue doesn't go away after device re-setup, and happens all the time, then you might want to consider to reach out to the manufacturer instead.

By the way yes, I already know the mods are going to just lock this topic so nobody can respond to it or they will remove it entirely to keep people from viewing it.

I came on here looking for a reason why they don't have chat. GPT built into home assistant. Have you found anything else on this subject?
