My ipad goes to sleep even though my home app is on and watching live video on nest indoor camera

Setting your iPad’s screen to stay on constantly is an easy process. This should be familiar if you’re used to keeping your iPhone screen unlocked

Simply open the Settings app and navigate to Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock. Here you’ll see multiple options, ranging from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. There’s also an option for Never, which is what you should select here.

Once this is enabled, your iPad’s display won’t automatically go to sleep. If you want to turn the screen off, you still can by pressing the power button.

Is your iPad in low power mode by any chance? You'll need to turn that off to stop the iPad display turning off.
