Will the Google Home APIs be available as a direct REST API without the need for Android emulation

I am looking to integrate applications with the Google Home APIs without needing to set up an Android emulation device/environment to run the Android SDK. Will the Home API be available as a REST API? What is the timeline for this to be available for private/public beta and GA? Please advise.

Thanks for reaching out. Currently, Home APIs are primarily focused on mobile development, with a public beta program available for Android. Support for iOS  is planned for later this year.

Developers can integrate these APIs into their mobile apps by utilizing the provided mobile SDKs.

The team is always looking for possibilities to expand the APIs to support other platforms, including Web (REST API). However, we don't have any other information or a timeline regarding this possibility at the moment.
