We installed the google nest cam (battery) 30 days ago. All of our video history disappeared today. I thought 3 hours of video history was included. I see it has started to record new clips since the history disappeared but why would it delete the previous 3 hours of video history? It says it deletes the video on a rolling basis. Are the 3 included hours only per day or can it be over multiple days?

Thanks for the answer. In this case, answering your questions, the 3 hours of event video history are not consecutive; this just includes clips of the events that happened during the 3 hours. These clips can be edited and downloaded; the clips are not going to be saved after the 3 hour past.
I would recommend you get the Nest Aware subscription or the Nest Aware Plus subscription to get good benefits for the video history on your Nest Camera (battery). With the Nest Aware base subscription, you can get 30 days of event video history, or, if you prefer the Nest Aware Plus, you can get 10 days of continuous video history and 60 days of event video history.

Thanks for your response. To answer your questions: The videos were deleted from history exactly 30 days after installation. Nothing changed in the home. We do not have a Nest Aware subscription. Wi-Fi connection is strong.
My main question is regarding the 3 hours of video history that Nest claims is included (without a Nest Aware subscription.) My nest camera is not saving the 3 hours of video history any more. It is only saving recordings for the current day which add up to less than an hour of footage. Do you know what is included with the Nest video security camera and how it works?

Ok, I will check out those links but what I am saying is that it is not saving 3 hours of video. It only saves footage for 1 day (usually less than 30 minutes of video) and then the next day it is gone. If the Nest says it includes 3 hours of video, can the 3 hours be over consecutive days until the 3 hours is met? Then as additional clips are recorded it will delete the oldest video footage?
