I can successfully set an alarm for 5.15am and Google confirms that it is set. However it NEVER sounds. I have to bring my phone to bed with me any time I need an alarm call. I have rebooted several times but it has never worked since I got it about 1 year ago.

Thanks for reaching out, and my apologies for the delayed response.
It must have been a frustrating experience when the alarm is not working on your Google Home/Nest device. Let's try to get to the bottom of this. A few questions: what type of Google Home/Nest device do you have? Which type of alarm did you set (Media, Character, or standard alarm)? Is the timer working? Are there other features that are affected?
Let's go ahead and do a sequential reboot. Please unplug your speaker and router from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
