Alarm (wake up) on multiple devices

draculaentstein
Community Member

Guess i am not the first one to have this problem but still:

i have 2 nest hub devices in my bed/living room, so when i set an alarm with my voice it's more or less a gamble which one answers (sensitivity doesn't change much), but that's not the main problem.

when the alarm triggers in the morning and i want so snooze it and the "wrong" device hears me it just says that there are no alarms set and sometime i even have to geht up and snooze the alarm on the hub on the other side of the room...

  • is there any way to do anything, otherwise, please google, alarm pairs or something 🙌

Hi folks,

Thanks again for helping here, @RachelGomez123. @draculaentstein, I hope you've got the answer you're looking for. Also, it would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest devices. Plug them back in after 3 minutes or 5 minutes tops. Restarting your phone might also help.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Dan

Hey draculaentstein,

My apologies for the delays. To confirm, how far are your devices from each other? How far are you from your device when you're snoozing the alarm? Please provide the current firmware version of your devices.

Cheers,

Muddi

well, the answer is the one i stated in the first post. i would just like to have alarms synct across google devices, but well, that's not happening i guess. (or tell google to set an alarm on a certain device, not just the one that hears me)
all it tells me is "sorry, i cant manage alarms on other devices "yet""

Hi draculaentstein,

Thanks for the details you provided. Could you help us with the firmware version of your devices? Check the steps below on how to get it.

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings and then Device information.
  5. Under "Technical information," find Cast firmware: X.XXX.XXXXX.

Lookng forward to your response.
