I want to be able to send an announcement to a selected Google speaker from Google hub - how can this be achieved?

You would say this to your Nest Hub:

"Broadcast to [device name], [message]."

For example:

"Broadcast to Kitchen Display, 'Is dinner ready yet?'"

See this help page: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7531913?hl=en

In this case google will say it in his own voice inna bilingual home this is not working so well.  Any way googke can just send the audio without trying to understand it?  Also anyway to ooen 2 way communication between 2 devices without using duo?

I can't answer how Google Nest handles broadcasts in a bilingual home.  Also, as shown in the above link, you can reply to a broadcast to a single Nest Hub, but I don't know how well this lets you carry on a conversation back and forth.

Hey HomeUser,

I appreciate @MplsCustomer for helping here. Currently, 2 way communication on the Google Home/Nest devices only works when using broadcast and Google Duo features. Regarding your issue when broadcasting using a different language - could you give us more details about it. It is best if you could share a video so we can further check what's going on with your device.

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Muddi
