Appel sur meet

Steve171

Hi there!

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear you have not been able to make a call on your Nest Hub. Help's here!

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

  • When did the inconvenience start?
  • Did you get an error message?

In the meantime, let's check a few things:

  • Check for Updates: Ensure that your Nest Hub and Google Home app are up-to-date.
  • Verify Voice Match: Make sure your partner's voice is set up in Voice Match. This helps Google Assistant recognize their voice and respond accordingly.
  • Enable Personal results: This requires you to unlock your phone even if you have Personal results turned on. Refer to this article: Allow personal results on your Assistant-enabled devices.
  • Check Google Meet Installation: Verify that Google Meet is installed and enabled on your Nest Hub. If not, you may need to reinstall it.

Keep me posted.

Regards,

Melany

Hi @Steve171,

Thanks for the information.

To better assist you, I'd like to ask a couple of questions:

  • Are you experiencing difficulties when calling a particular person or multiple contacts?
  • Are you encountering the same situation with more Nest devices?

In the meantime, let's check a few things:

  • Reboot your Nest Hub: This can often resolve minor glitches. Refer to this article: Reboot Google Nest Hub.
  • Restart Your Wi-Fi Router: Sometimes, a simple restart can help improve connectivity.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Melany

Hi Melany, I noticed that when I name the person it answers "who do you want to call" and then I name the phone number and it works. At the beginning of the problem it asked me with which application I wanted to call it suggested Meet or another one that I forgot and maybe Gemini but really not sure.

I disassociated Meet from the google account and also uninstalled Meet on the iphone then reinstalled. It worked for the first call but not afterwards. I have 5 devices in the house that allow my wife, who is handicapped, to communicate with them in case of need.

Hi there!

Thanks for the follow-up information.

Let's try this step:

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Melany

Hello @Steve171,

Thanks for posting in the community.
Thank you for your continued efforts to troubleshoot this issue. I appreciate your patience and understanding. I know how important this feature is for you, so in this case you can try removing the household contacts in any case they are already added by following the next steps:

  • Open the Google Home app.
  • Tap Settings and then Google Assistant and then Manage all Assistant settings and then Communication and then Your contacts and then Household people.
  • Tap next to the person you want to remove from your household contacts.
  • Tap Remove.

If you don't have the option, you should try setting up this option by following the next steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Settings and then Google Assistant and then Manage all Assistant settings and then Communication and then Your contacts and then Household contacts.
  3. Tap the person you want to add to your household contacts.
  4. If the person isn’t listed, tap Add Person and follow the on-screen instructions.

Or you can tell the speaker to set it up:

  • Say, "Hey Google, set up household contacts." You’ll get a notification on your phone through the Google Assistant app. To be able to receive this notification, download the most recent version of the Google Assistant app.
  • Tap the notification and follow the on-screen instructions.

You can also get more information on this link: Set up household contacts on your speaker or display.

Please let me know how it goes. Thank you.

Regards,
Jorge

Finalement j’ai réussi à corriger le problème en ajoutant un pseudonyme. On dirait que l’assistant google utilise le pseudonyme pour la commande vocale.

Après d’autres essais ca ne fonctionne pas
