Apple music won't play, even though it is set as default

Hey there. 

I have two Lenovo smart clocks and I'm using google home to control them.

When I play music it automatically switches to YouTube. Yes I have linked my Apple music account. 

When I try to use the voice command this is what I get. 

Said play Apple music

Playing some music on Apple Music….

Sorry, something went wrong. When you're ready, give it another try. 

Any suggestions? 

I only use Apple music so this is frustrating and I don't want to use my Bluetooth connection to play music.

Can you cast it from your phone to the clock, and are you in n a country that this is currently supported in?
