Apps doesn't show on my Nest Hub 2

Hello, my google nest hub 2 does not show apps, all I can see is: assistant, games, search, sling TV, stories and YT TV. I cannot see anything else. I can open for example youtube or spotify using my voice but I would like to see all the apps in the menu

Hi Kasia17,

 

I understand that this would be a helpful feature, but this option is not available on your Nest Hub (2nd Gen). The tab to "see all apps" is only available on a Nest Hub Max. In line with this, we want to encourage you to send feedback from your end, and we’re hoping for all the possibilities by taking our users' feedback and suggestions.

Unfortunately it's not true, based on the news from google nest hub 2 were supposed to have app launcher. And how is it possible that my brother has the same model of nest hub 2 and he has app launcher and I don't?

Sorry for the confusion. Could you please provide the cast firmware version of your Google Nest Hub and in comparison to the one with App launcher?

 

To check which firmware version you're on, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings and then Device information.
  5. Under "Technical information," find Cast firmware: X.XXX.XXXXX.

Hey Kasia17,

Please join the Preview Program for your Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) and reboot your display for a minute. Check if the other applications will show up on the screen or not.

Hi, I joined the program mentioned above and rebooted the Nest but still nothing, I cannot see all the apps
