Assistant Language Reverts to Previous Settings

Hi,

I was experimenting with languages that Google Assistant can speak. I changed the primary language from English to another language and the nest hub change the display to that language. I then changed it back to English and the display changed to English. After a few minutes it reverted back to the previous language.

Now whatever I do with the language settings, I cannot get it to go back and stay in English, it always reverts to the previous language that I selected. 

I have a second language set up and that works fine, no problem. 

Anyone else experienced this? Ideas on how to solve the problem?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should, so let’s get this resolved. You can try  to do a sequential reboot. First, unplug your Nest Hub for 30 seconds, then do the same thing to your Wi-Fi router to refresh both devices and your Wi-Fi signal. If this did not fix it you can do a full reset and set it up again as a new device then observe if this will correct this. Check the step below on how to do the reset.

Here’s how to do the reset,  press and hold the volume up and down button located at the back of your Google Nest Hub together for about 10 seconds. You'll hear your Google Assistant confirm that it's resetting your Google Nest Hub.
