August 27th Update problems

Last night a pushed update has now made most of my Google Home speakers useless. I tried factory reset and they get to the point of connecting to wifi and they want to update. Wait 30 mins. And white lights still dimming in and off. In total this has affected 8 speakers. This happened with another update about 5 years ago and two speakers had the same problem. So now I’ve lost 10 speakers due to updates that get pushed out. Google I’m done. I won’t be replacing these speakers with Google Home devices, I’m switching to Amazon Alexa like my friends warned me 5 years ago. I should’ve sold them all after the first update when I lost 2 speakers. Get Google is has not been fun.

This is an ongoing problem for the whole of this year, your speaker groups are now useless, you will spend hours resetting and regrouping them and if you are lucky u get a days use. Then if you are lucky they will at least work independently, if not they will reply...'Please connect to your Google home app...'
