Blank screen

Have recently purchased the nest hub max, it states it’s connected to google home app, the the display says finish set up, when this is clicked it just goes to blank white screen. Have tried factory resetting, turning in and off, everything I’ve read on the forums I’ve tried and nothing is working. Ready to through it in bin.

Thanks for posting in the community! I'm sorry that the Nest Hub Max is showing a black and white screen. I'd be happy to help.

 

To better investigate the situation, I’d like to ask the following:

 

  • When did the behavior start?
  • Was the device dropped or knocked over?
  • What is the firmware version of your Nest display?
  • Would you mind sharing a picture of the Nest Hub Max’s screen?

In the meantime, I’d suggest checking the following:

 

  • Confirm if the device is powered on and check if the lights come on.
  • Check if the Google Assistant responds to the commands.
