Bluetooth drop out

I’ve read lots of posts on what seems to be a very common problem of Google Nest mini dropping Bluetooth connection but I’ve never read about a solution or an even a plausible reason (microwave cookers- really?) as to why this happens. Just adding my experience that this happens nearly every time I’m listening to a podcast via Bluetooth from my iPhone, it seems a random amount of time that the Bluetooth link stays up but then Boom! it’s gone - it’s like Google disapproves of my choice of podcast and decides enough is enough….
