Bluetooth nest to Bluetooth adapter?

Hi all, so I have an old classic 70's-80's stereo and I wanna Bluetooth my nests to it. I bought a Esinkin BT adapter from Amazon and I got my Google pixel paired to the adapter just fine, but I want to have my nests paired to it. Does anyone know if this is possible? Am I missing something?
