Bluetooth pairing - cannot replicate sound?

Hi,

I want to pair a Bluetooth speaker. Searched forum, found how to do it (set as default speaker for a mini).

But when I do it, it seems like I can either have the mini as the speaker, or the Bluetooth device. That's not what I want. What I want is the Bluetooth speaker *and* the mini to play music.

So really I'd prefer setting up the Bluetooth speaker as a separate speaker in Home, which doesn't seem possible. Only option is to make it the default speaker for a mini, which loses functionality.

Help!

Thanks!

I appreciate you trying to help. It's not a laggy connection or poor sync. It is by design only one speaker (the mini) or another (the bluetooth speaker).

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I totally understand that playing both Nest speaker and your Bluetooth speaker while connected is a good feature, but this isn’t available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how

I have a similar issue using an "older" BICONIC bt speaker, except in my case, the mini won't play at all unless I unpair the BT speaker, turn off BT broadcast on the speaker, or power off the speaker.

Like you (Shane McB), I want music to play through BOTH the mini and BT at the same time. In case someone is anticipating an answer, I do NOT have any other BT devices paired to my mini besides the BICONIC BT speaker. This mini is not part of any speaker group.
