Broadcast cast to single speaker

Recently I am unable to broadcast a message to a single speaker. I have Google home minis. I could say "hey Google broadcast to boys room/boys speaker" and it would then ask me what the message was. Now I say "hey Google broadcast to boys room/boys speaker" and it says "ok broadcasting now" then all speakers beep and they say "message from (my name) boys room speaker"

Have I changed a setting without realising?

Try to refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Home Minis.
