Broadcast function

I have various Google speakers throughout the home, and used to regularly use the Broadcast feature. Over the past few months there seems to be a problem  - it no longer seems to use a recording of my voice,  but tries to use Google Assistant to send the message.  Has there been an update that has changed the functionality?

Yes, the feature was recently updated to use Google Assistant voices and not your own unfortunately.

I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.
