Camera / doorbell not connecting after new Wi-Fi installed

Hi-I’m no way a techno person- but this is getting very frustrating! New wifiindtalled yesterday. Nest hub max has connected ok-but battery camera and battery doorbell will not connect. I have done factory resets on both. Error comes up and says’ problem connecting with cloud’. The Philips hue lights have connected fine to the nest hub- it’s the google items which won’t! Please help!

Are you going through google app or nest app?  I read in another post that you may need to try google app if newer

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I would love to help however I can. I have seen this issue before, and i'm afraid the resolution would be to remove your cams and doorbells off of the Home, and install them again in the app.

Also, make sure that you are using Google Home app as that is the only compatible app for the Nest Cam (battery) and Nest Doorbell (battery). You can learn how to remove devices from your account here

Best Regards,
Brad

Hi all- sorry for the late response- finally got it all sorted- we factory reset everything! Shame it wasn’t easier! All is working fine now- it did give us an opportunity to ‘tidy’ apps up though. Thanks for your help!
