Can only play music to speaker group, not podcasts etc

I have lost the ability to cast audio from Google home to my speaker groups, it now just has the option to 'play music' only. But I want to play podcasts and other audio?

Everything is correctly connected including Google podcasts etc. HELP!

You need to go to the app that the podcast is in and cast it from there.

But when I do that it only shows individual speakers and not the groups?

I too noticed that I can no longer cast my phone audio to a speaker group, just the individual speakers. Great for apps that cast, but not great for ones that don't!

Same. I'm on a pixel 6 and my Google podcast app only shows individual speakers, not my groups anymore. My Galaxy S10 didn't show this behavior, which I replied with my P6.
