Can’t connect bluetooth speaker to nest hub.

I’m having trouble connecting my Google Nest hub to my Jbl speaker.

In the device settings I choose sound, and that’s were the problem comes. In the sound settings I do not have the option to select a default speaker.
what can I do?

Hello there,
My speaker connects perfectly right now. (Actually is always connected, it would be nice if Nest Hub disconnect from it when I didn't use it for a while.). But the crackling remained.
Do you have any information on when will we get a full update when Google try to solve all of the long-standing issue and some new features like NFCs and connect the presence detector to the current time (sunset, sunrise)? The last design update wasn't too much...

Hey folks,
It looks like we haven't heard back from the OP so I'm going to go ahead and lock the thread. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to create a new thread.

I'm having the same issue as the OP. I'm trying to connect my Tribit speaker to my Nest Hub. I follow the directions given but it doesn't show up as an available speaker to use as the Hub's default speaker. I have no problem connecting my speaker to my Samsung S21 phone.
