Can't connect my nest audio to my TV with built in Chromecast

I cannot connect my nest audio speakers to my TV with built in Chromecast cast. Both items are brand new. I have tried to do it through the Google home app but all that it has done is cast the audio out of sync with my TV and not with my Vizio sound bar also connected via Bluetooth and optical audio cable (I have an entirety different issue with that but the issue is not with the sound bar and YouTube). Is there a way to hook them all up in unison? Or is it not possible without a Chromecast dongle which I ordered in advance anyway just in case.

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'd be happy to help you with casting audio through the Nest Audio and the soundbar.

Unfortunately, Chromecast built-in TVs don't currently allow grouping Nest Audio speakers for simultaneous audio output with the TV speakers or soundbars (wired or wireless).

In this situation, I suggest this: 

• Cast to individual or groups created with Nest Audio speakers: For now, this might be the only option for using Chromecast built-in TV with Nest Audio speakers. You can cast audio directly to a group or single Nest Audio speaker connected to the Google Home app.

Just keep in mind that there are selected TVs that are compatible. You can refer to your manufacturer if your TV is one of those. You can find more information in the next article: Create and manage speaker groups.
