Just to make sure, did you add the vacuum to the "Mi Home" app? I only ask because if you did, then you would link your mi home account with google to use the vacuum in the google home app

Yes, I did that. Robot is properly set up on Mi Home. I forgot to add that information

Hey Ags1976,

Thanks for reaching out — let me help you with this.

Can you control your vacuum using the Mi Home app? Did you successfully link your Mi home account to your Google Home app? If not, are you getting any message when linking your account? Make sure your devices are connected to the same network. Try reinstalling your Mi home and Google Home app.

By the way, thanks for the help, YukamoRan!

Let us know if that helps.

Best,

Alex

Hi. I have the same problem. I have my roborock 7 linked to Xiaomi Home and I can controlthe vacuum with the app perfectly, but when I'm going to link Mi Home with Google Home it says "No devices were found in your Mi home account"

Hi Vajra,

Thanks for the info you've provided. Do you get the same response when you try to coommand Google Assistant from your phone?

Hi, Princess. Which command should I say to use that command? Cause I tried to pair it from google home and there's where the error happens

Hey Vajra,

Chiming in, sorry for the confusion. To confirm, have you tried using a different phone? Also, are you linking the same Mi Home account on the Google Home app?

Hi Vajra,

Thanks for the information. Just an added questions: Are you using a dual-band router? What is the make and model of your router? Have you tried reaching out with the manufacturer to check with them if your vacuum is supported to link and can be controlled via voice command? Please note that some models aren't supported and it is best if you check it first with Xiaomi.

Keep us posted.

Hi. Is a dual-band, but I don't know the model since is the one that the internet company gave to us. I'm actually connected to thje 2.4GHz with my phone just to pair correctly my devices.

Actually, I paired yesterday my Tuya app with my LED strip and I have 2 more apps paired.

My vacuum model is Roborock S7, which actually can be controlled by voice with Google assistant.

Thanks!

Hi Vajra,

Thanks for the information. To confirm, is your vacuum set up on Roborock Mi Home app? It looks like the issue is isolated with Roborock vacuum since you are able to setup and control other smart devices in your house using your Google Home/Nest device. I suggest that you contact the manufacturer as it shows on the Google Assistant page that your vacuum is not listed as one of the supported vacuums. Here's the link for your reference.

Keep us posted.

oh, you're right is not listed. But my roborock is newer that the one listed in the web you send to me. The thing is that I have my Roborock perfectly paired with my Xiaomi App and it works perfectly.

Hi Vajra,

I understand. Xiaomi is considered as the third-party app for your vacuum since the official app should be Roborock Mi Home, and we can't guarantee that it will work with the Google Home app. I suggest you try setting up your device in Roborock Mi Home app first then see if you will have the same issue. Also, call the manufacturer and check with them if your vacuum is supported for Google Home/Nest devices.

Hope this helps.

Hi Vajra

Perfect! So it's the Mi Home app that caused the issue. Looks like the app don't allow your vacuum to be connected to the Google Home app.  It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will lock the thread shortly unless I can help out with anything else.
