Hi have a Google Home Max and a Samsung HW-S60D Soundbar.
I had it set up for a few months and it worked perfectly.
Today, the speaker stopped working so I reset it. I then removed it from both Google Home and Smartthings in order to re-register it.
When I put it back onto Smartthings, it reappeared on Google home but only the remote control function. The other button in Google home, which enables you to directly adjust volume didn't reappear.
I cannot put it into a speaker group as it doesn't show and I cannot ask google to play things through it, although it does show up as a cast device on other systems.
How do I re-add it so I can add it to a speaker group?

Hi blueskies1977,
Thanks for posting. I understand that you're experiencing issues with your Samsung Soundbar, which is no longer appearing to set up a speaker group or adjust the volume on the Google Home app. I appreciate the steps you've already tried to resolve this. Don't worry; help is here.
Here are some steps that you can try while setting up the Samsung soundbar:
Since you have a Google Nest Hub display, you can try to sync the soundbar by using the "Hey Google" or "Ok Google, sync my devices" commands.
Now, regarding the Speaker group, you can check the next steps:
Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or Google Account as your speaker, display, and Google streaming devices.
Please keep me posted.
Best regards,
Jenny
