Can't search Spotify on Google Nest Hub Max

I have my Spotify account linked on My Nest Hub Max.  Under the media tab I have a Spotify tile and when selected it launches Spotify, but only shows recommended Playlists.  Is there a way to search for an artist or song without using my phone or speaking to google "Hey Google, blah, blah blah".  Is there a search option to type in an song, artist, etc.

Searching for artists or songs on the Google Nest Hub Max device’s media tile is yet to be supported. It will only show the recommended playlist. We appreciate you sharing this with us.
