Can’t set up Nest Hub

DeniseinMR
Community Member

I keep getting this message in set-up:

kGSKErrorDomain error - 83905

Bluetooth on, hub is connected to wifi

seems to be a linking problem but I have no clue!

I tried looking at “language” as someone suggested. I’m in Canada & language is set properly.
help!

thanks

Hey DeniseinMR,

We're sorry to hear that you're having problems setting up your Google Nest Hub — let me help you out.

A few questions: are you using a regular Google Account? Do you have a private home network? Also, is it the first time you're setting up your Nest Hub?

Make sure the Local network access for the Google Home app is enabled on your phone settings. Here's how: Privacy > Local Network > Google Home app. Reinstalling your Google Home and Google Assistant app might help too.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,
Alex
