I can't find this information anywhere. Can you actually use the Nest Hub Max camera like a phone camera to take pictures and record videos? The feature where it follows the users, seems like it would be really good for vlogging. Can someone confirm whether that is possible or is the camera purely for meetings and security?

If the regular Hub (2d gen) is any indication, that device has almost no customization options or ways to add any additional functionality outside of it's core functionality. I would be surprised if the design philosophy of the Max would be different.

Hi folks,
@kgatgmaildotcom, I appreciate the input.
Thanks for reaching out, @TheEnquisitor. I know that it's pretty neat to use the Google Nest Hub Max camera for vlogging and the like; however, it mainly works for calling and for monitoring your home, so you can stream images or video remotely using the Google Home app or Nest app. Check out this support article for more information.
If you have other questions, feel free to ask.
Thanks,
Lovely
