Cannot add a household contact

I have my phone number linked to google meet and want to call people on nest display. I am unable to add anyone to the household contacts- the app immediately crashes after I select "add" the person to my household contact. I am in the US.

To better assist you with accurate information, I’d like to confirm the following:

  • What is the model of your Google Nest Display? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify your display model.
  • Are the Google Home app and your phone up to date?
  • Are you using a Google Workspace or G Suite account to sign in?
  • Could you confirm if you're the account holder or a family member? Only the person who set up the home in the Google Home app can set up household contacts.
